"Fantastic online backup program, and reasonable cost"

Pros
Family Plan (2-10 computers) allows all your coputers to be backed up.
Minimal impact to pc/mac
Selectable files/folders to be backed up including whole computer.
Fast tech support response.
Unlimited data per computer.
NO throttling from vendor, speed chosen by user.
Works in background, but you can monitor if desired.
Default is weekly status reporting by email.
Can also backup to another (like a friend's) computer, a folder or a drive.
Very reasonable pricingCons
Honestly, no cons. Maybe I can't backup my iPad.
Summary
Much,Much,Much,Much, better than Carbonite. I actually forced Carbonite to refund my account since they THROTTLE your backup speed. After a year, Carbonite had not finished my backup!!! Not so with CrashPlan, it's full speed (up to you). Backup was done in 2 weeks!
Easy interface, most users won't know the program is even running, so the weekly reports are important so that they know it's still working!
No crashes, simple to modify settings. Absolutely a dream of a program.
Reasonably costs. I upgraded to the Unlimited Family Plan. We have a number of PC's/Macs, the Family Plan backs up 2-10 PC's or Mac's, with unlimited data each. My PC's and Mac;'s usually have about 1TB each. To accomplish offsite backups using hard drives would be considerably more expensive
