Version: CounterSpy 2.1.946
"Still the most effective out there!"
Pros: I am on my second year of a licensed "CounterSpy" program. Although it has been at or near the top in this field of software, the latest release is once again improved. Faster scans, reduced recource usage, better and faster updates are only a few of these improvements. Excellent shields and it works great with "Vista". But, the stand out with this app is the publisher, "Sunbelt Software". The support is there when or if you ever need it. This is a quality program by a quality publisher at an affordable price. I recomend this app to all who care about the security of their computer. I use one anti-spy app, an anti-malware app and a security suite and with this combination I still havn't had a major infection in quite a while. I trust "Counter Spy's active protection and am impressed with it's reduced recource usage. Those who don't know, for the rest of June, as a new user, you can get it as an upgrade for $9.95. A generous publisher to say the least.
Cons: None! This is a great app at a fair price.
