VERY VERY EASY TO SET UP! Very Fast. I downloaded all my music in under an 45 MIN!! (over 3000 songs) Personally think $19.99 is cheap when you consider how much you have invested in your music/movies/picts. You will be satisfied!

Summary
Worth the Money, especailly when your talking about thousands of songs!!! It was $19.99, and worth every penny. It is Crazy SIMPLE... I was messing around with Music Rescue off of Download.com, and was trying to use there free version. I ran into countless bugs, and decided to try this out. After seeing how easy there free version was (250 songs) I decided it was worth the $20 bucks. Now I can grab any of my friends ipods and convert there music to my itunes in a matter of seconds. I promise that you will not be disappointed!!

easy to install, easy to use. I have some voice CDs that do not copy well into iTunes and when they do they copy at random not staying in order. CopyTrans solved this problem. copying Photos to and from my iPhone 3g was a snap

Pros
Copy Trans Doctor will recover files that had been deleted. Apple makes it very difficult when you switch computers, have hard drive problems etc. It was almost as if they were, "trying to protect me from "stealing" my files back".

Summary
I lost over 1000 files that were on my IPOD. Basically, I tried to switch computers when I wanted to add some music. I was away from the computer I normally used. I got all kinds of errors that "Itunes cannot play the file because the original file cannot be located." I felt like they were trying to protect me from "stealing" my own files.... Copy Trans Doctor was able to recover most of the files. It was well worth the purchase. Also, their support was very helpful!

Easy to use software that preserves my precious Ipod library of songs and podcasts. Wonderful technical support if necessary. I had an error due to an Apple update and they resolved it for me even though it was not their fault. Just great service.
Cons
None. Easy to use - no brainer. Seemless and reassuring software. Buy it.

I really like this product. Before I purchased it I had lost a number of songs that I had purchased and I was forced to purchase them again. I searched the net for backup software for my Ipod. I did not like the other products and Copytrans gave me a free demo. I was immediately sold on the product. I backed up my Itunes and subsequently was able to import these files when the Ipod crashed and I had a problem with Itunes.
A must buy. Inexpensive peace of mind. Wonderful and responsive technical support. Treat yourself and your precious songs/podcasts. -

I had the Ipod from hell that has had 4 years of continuous use. We eventually discovered that the Ipod was irrepairable however the team at Copytrans created a programme that allowed me to save my collection of 2500 songs onto my pc! Life savers

Turn off anti-virus scanning to stop slow backups (referring to those with 'slow backup' issues).
Maybe should have centralized console instead of 5 different desktop shortcuts like Nero likes to do.Summary
Ipods and iphone's DO crash - THIS MAKES THIS PRODUCT A MUST HAVE!!!!!
Many of these backup utilities struggle with dealing with itunes launching or operating in the background (and freeze consequently) but this program manages its background thinking smoothly.
I think for $20.00 this is worth it. Consider the $20 it costs to buy and divide it by the number of songs you have. Works out to be a rather cost effective program.

Apparent artwork copying support is not true, my artwork was not backed up. Also, takes a very long time to import into itunes (longer than itunes woud take by itself) and you cannot switch your computer off at any stage of the backup.
