"Light and free, yet a powerful software"

Summary
I have all my huuuge music collection on an external 1TB HDD.
I travel a lot and always bring my iPad with me. Before every flight, I choose which movies I want to watch, and simply drag and drop them to my iPad. This coudn't be simpler.
I LOVE IT - I WANT TO GIVE YOU MONEY - why is it free?! =) -

Cons
- Not actually free
- Missing features (I suspect they may appear when you pay for the product). Specifically I refer to smart backup.
- Poor documentation for some key functions

I wanted to do a simple thing - transfer my iphone songs from my phone to my pc - I have a new pc. The description advertises this as a feature so I thought no problem - that was wrong.
I could find no way to transfer anything off my phone. It does display all the music and podcasts - and it does let you quickly filter by either which was nice. But that is as far as I could get. Drag and drop - did nothing, copy and paste - nothing, the smart backup displayed in their screenshots - not even in the program (I suspect it appears if you pay for it).
I am not going to list here the difficulties I had finding support information other than to say it was complicated by the fact their website does not work well with Chrome.
In a moment of frustration I was even ready to pay the $20 to buy/upgrade the program - but I could find no option to do so within the program! It appears you can only do so by downloading a new copy from their site - which given the difficulties I already had, I was unwilling to do.
The program has a lot of downloads so perhaps for those who paid for it or use it for other things - maybe it's great. My experience though was definitely a negative. -

Does not require iTunes; swift and intuitive. Price is right, too!
Cons
Earlier versions sometimes didn't sync properly, though haven't had any problems recently. That's the only reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5.
Summary
Definitely a worthy app, especially for someone who normally syncs their iPhone with their corporate e-mail like myself; if I am not connected to my corporate network, iTunes will not recognize my device. This is not a problem with CopyTrans Manager.

"Now You Can Dump iTunes for Good"

iTunes is such a bloated piece of garbage. I was desperate to get rid of it. CopyTransManager was the answer, and, OMG, it's FREE. What more can you ask for? Friendly and helpful support, too, even for free software.
Cons
None that I've ever found.

At first it was free....after I loaded pic from pc to ipod....it informs me
of the $39.95 purchase price I will have to pay to continue using it...
I'm considering doing this, but I just think its rather stinky & tricky to lure buyers in this waySummary

Works well with no problems. I've used it on my iPod Nano, iPhone 3, iPhone 3GS and iPad. Nice work, guys!
Let's you add and delete files from your device. I only use iScrewns now to backup my Contacts and Apps. Everything else handled by CopyTrans.Cons
None for the CopyTrans Manager.
Summary
To be able to get stuff OFF your Apple devices, you'll have to buy CopyTrans or you can get a good bundle of four of their products at http://www.copytrans.net/purchase.php.
Still, it's a well done product and one step closer to an iTuneless future. Yay!
