  "Don't Bother unless you want to buy the full version."

  Pros: The trail only tells you that there are errors on your ipod, you have to buy the full version to fix it. Not willing to shell out $40.00 (1/2 of what I paid for my ipod) to see if their fix works.

  Cons: Let us try it at least once.

  "The best program I've ever bought !"

  Pros: My iPod was showing the sad face icon.

  I tried CopyTrans Doctor for free. I found "errors" on my iPod. I purchased the full version.

  It scanned my iPod for a while and voilà: my iPod was was working perfectly again and I could even recover missing songs and songs that were skipped by my iPod.

  Worth the bucks and I didn't need to buy a new iPod!

  "Good product but............."

  Pros: I have used this product to restore some otherwise useless ipods, which Windows and iTunes had failed to do.

  Cons: See summary below.

  Summary: Use of this product is restricted to a maximum of 10 ipods. Then it tells you to contact the company to enquire about the "professional" version which they want to charge significantly more to give you a license. I have no problem with paying someon... read more >>

  "This product saved my accidentally deleted iPods songs!"

  Pros: I'm so happy to have recovered all my precious songs!!!!

  Cons: CopyTrans Doctor is not free

  Summary: Worked just great although it costs a bit.

  "Saved my playlists"

  Pros: I inadvertently deleted my playlists from my hard drive and was able to fully recover them.

  Cons: The first error scan took over 24 hours. The second time was faster when I disabled a number of programs I had running simultaneously.
