Version: CopyPod 7.61
Pros: So easy to use! Within the hour I figured out how to transfer the needed songs back to my itunes. Simple instructions and nice interface. The purchase price seems reasonable too. I plan on buying the full version. I will post again later.
Cons: I can't think of any.

Version: CopyPod 7.61
Pros: I was able to get all my songs and playlists off my iPod and back onto a new hard drive after a crash. This part worked as advertised.
Cons: I thought the interface could have been improved - and since the first time I didn't have iTunes open, I had to re-run the whole thing which was a pain in the but - the program should have prompted me at some point to make sure.

Version: CopyPod 7.61
Pros: I reviewed 10 different iPod copy/backup programs for the PC and ended up purchasing this one. Some of the features that set CopyPod ahead of the rest are: 1) ability to multi-select ALL songs for copy to either hard-drive or directly to iTunes, 2)Rich interface and well thought out (except for a few message boxes which open too small), 3) trial version allows copy of 100 songs which give you a good chance to exercise the product.
I was able to successfully move over 4000 songs from my old iPod formated for a MAC to my new iPod in 30 minutes and without any errors. The on-line help is good and support appears to be prompt. Highly recommend.
FYI: If you need to connect an iPod formatted by a MAC to a PC, you will need to install a trial version of xPlay found at mediafour.com /products /xplay/
Cons: Doesn't appear to save your Destination folder choice which you chose to import to the hard-drive verses directly to iTunes (minor issue).

Version: CopyPod 7.61
Pros: Copied 5,200 tracks directly into iTunes without a problem.
The incremental update feature is also a plus for subsequent importing and transfer of tracks between multiple PCs.

"Not compatible with new iTunes"
Pros: Decent interface.
Cons: The trial I downloaded took 100 songs off my iPod, but they are not in my iTunes library. When CopyPod offered to have iTunes import them for me, it told me that I must have iTunes 4.6 or later, I currently have 6.0.2, would I like to download a newer version?!? So it seems to not work with ver. 6.0.2.
