From CoolRecordEdit :Cool Record Edit Pro helps you transfer tapes, LPs, live performances, Internet radio, TV, DVD, or any other sound source to your hard drive. The software helps protect your valuable recordings - just set the sound source, the recording quality, and volume, then start recording. The Editor allows you to perform various operations with audio data such as displaying a waveform image of an audio file, filtering, applying various audio effects and more. It includes a click and crackle filter for cleaning vinyl records, a noise filter for cassette-tape recordings, and an equalizer to enhance the sound quality of all recordings.

"Functional,stabile and reliable"
Pros: That one was the most functional,stabile and reliable of the recording - editing programs that I tried. I turned many LPs and tapes to CD without any real problem.
Cons: I dont like nothing i like every thing

Version: Cool Record Edit Pro 6.3.1
Pros: No positives. The "trial" version prevents saving any of the recordings, thus preventing the trial of the program. It's not a trial, but poorly designed demo.
Cons: I wasted my time making a trial recording but was unable to save it, even to see if it does or doesn't have the same Vista compatibility problem as their "free" version, which also prevents you from saving your file.
Summary: What a waste!
