"Very Functional"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Does what you need it to do, very fast, and quite configurable
Cons
Works fine with Win7 32 bit Home Premium - does not play well with Win7 64 bit Pro, locks up immediately after first use, even when running in XP compatibility mode
Summary
Will definitely find use for it on a project that I am currently involved in.

"Did exactly what I needed it to do and very easily!"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Easy Interface and Fast Processing
Cons
None yet but I am not forcasting any in the future either.
Summary
Perfect contact sheet software with no confusing extras. I highly recommend this to anyone needed a quick contact sheet made.

"Obtuse but great as a freebie"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
When it works, great.
Cons
Crashes every time I try to print directly from the app using tiff images under win 7 64 bit. Need to save contact sheets first then print each in turn---- clunky. Waiting for next release.
Summary
Would be really annoyed if I'd had to pay for it.

"Very useful to make a picture sheet for my class."
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Quite customizable.
Cons
None for me.
Summary
Free tool, beat MS photo gallery & Google Picasa in this contact sheet printing feature.

"Does what it says on the tin."
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
I needed to collate a large collection of photos into 3x2 on A4 which M$ photo wizard can't do, this did it in two minutes, no frills, nothing you don't need it just collates photos into new jpgs which is all I wanted, brilliant!
Cons
Interface is clunky, no stated means of loading images, it won't look inside folders so you have to go into the folder, right click, highlight everything you want to print. That said one you've used it once you would never have a problem again.
Summary
Can't recommend this highly enough, its free, nobody is trying to sell you anything and the install file is tiny.

"So easy to use!"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Easy easy easy
Cons
No customization
Summary
After spending hours using PhotoShop to make contact sheets, I was able to make one in seconds with this software. I like the drag-and-drop feature, actually, and it's very fast!

"OK... bad photo quality"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Really easy to set up and use.
Cons
Photos have jaggies! I can't deal with that. I with the thumbnails were rendered with a little more quality and then I'd be happy to use and pay for this.
Summary
Can't deal with jaggies in the photos.

"Excellent little product! Does everything I need!"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
I can be in control of whether the pictures are cropped, and from which direction; I can decide how many images on a page; can vary resolution, can place caption where I want it; can see a great preview; program remembers my preferences. Just great!
Cons
I really like the product and can't find any faults with it. It does everything I want. I would say the only tricky spot was to guess that I should right-click to see a menu to add files. While intuitive for me, might be hard for others.
Summary
I have tried other programs like this and they do not give me the flexibility. They decide what to crop, what the orientation is, how things will space out. This program gave me complete control over all the variables, even down to how the captions should display and align. Ability to vary the resolution is a big plus, although the standard resolution of 240 pixels should be fine for most. I got the idea for doing this based on the Windows printing wizard, which gives many choices, but ultimately you are stuck with up to 4 and then 35 pictures. I can choose exactly how many I want per page, so my projects are easy to index. Fantastic product, easy to use and very intuitive.
I would agree with others that the option to print directly from the previews would be helpful; but deleting the contact sheets directly after printing is easy enough. I would also recommend to others that if they are not saving the contact sheet files, they should set them to go right to desktop. Then they'll be easy to find and delete later.

"Easy and flexible"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
Within minutes of downloading this program I was creating contact sheets that were as good as any I've ever seen, and much better than some.
Cons
If I could make one change to this program, I'd add a "Browse" option to the File window. There are advantages to the drag and drop method and this should remain an option, but it just seems "awkward" to have to open a separate window just to select files.
Even with this quirk, I would say this program still earns 5 stars.

"A very simple program that saved my life!"
Version: Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1
Pros
OK well it might not have saved my life, but when Windows photo wizard stopped printing due to some "not enough space" error I thought all hope was lost. Where would I turn to print my contact sheet? This program was just what I needed. It has all the options that I wanted including header and footer notes, padding, the ability to adjust the number of rows and columns, borders and shadowing, and so much more. The interface is very easy to use as well. Way to go Contact Sheets 1.7.0.1, way to go!
Cons
The only options I would have liked included are the ability to print directly to the printer, or to save the contact sheets out as a pdf and not as jpegs as the program does.
