Version: Console Classix 4.01
"Worked fine, don't know where you went wrong."
Pros: First and most important is free games!!!!
The software downloaded and installed just fine. You do need a e-mail address when you sign up and I did not have to go to there web page , there was a sign up button on the browser. They have a huge list of games to choose from although, some you must be a paying user to get. Free systems (NES, Coleco, and Atari 2600 ) everything else is paying. $5 a month or $50 year not to bad. I have payed more than that for a single game off of Ebay. They do have a web site and list new games that they add every few weeks.
Cons: Software was slow when I first started it, but after that first time it seemed to run fine. The nag sceen is a bit anoying but if you pay it goes away :)

Version: Console Classix 4.01
"No point in trying, you can't actually see if the games will run without paying."
Pros: Eventually, I found how to register, so I could a log in. You have to look up there website. Not C|NET but the Console Classix website. I came here hoping to find Final Fantasy Legend II on the gameboy. I own the game, but the battery failed, so I can't save my game anymore. They appear to have it! Seems the game list is really long. :)
Cons: Once I logged in (and it took awhile to do) I tried to play a game. I could not. How in the world am I going to see how this software works if EVERY game I tried to play it said that I needed to pay you. Damn! Do you know just how many times I tried. A bloody waste of my time is that this turned into. Would it be so hard to label which games you can try so we can actually see that this program works. For all I know, it doesn't work. All this stupidity does is show me your service isn't worth a penny, much less $5 dollars a month.

Version: Console Classix 4.01
Cons: Downloaded it. Installed it. Attempted to open it. It asked for username and password. I could find no registration page. Could not proceed any further. Uninstalled it.
