After reading Conceptual Navigator Standard Edition's description, we expected more than the run-of-the-mill bookmark manager we got. The interface organizes all your bookmarks in tree-like structures, which should make it easier to locate your Favorites than it actually is. This application really only differs from similar utilities in that it lets you add several notes to bookmark folders. This program's most useful feature is its ability to archive bookmarks as a ZIP file or as a built-in Web browser. You can't highlight bookmarks or mark them with icons, and Conceptual Navigator Standard Edition even lacks such standard tools as a broken-link checker and a site-visitation log. If all you need is a simple bookmark manager, this program will do so long as you don't expect much beyond the basics.

Conceptual Navigator Standard Edition is a bookmark manager that allows access to Internet sites as well as to local documents, in a concept-oriented environment. It lets you associate annotations to each concept and to each bookmark that can be used to hold instructions; log previous experiences with a site; and hold any other useful information. The concept-oriented approach provides that relevant and related information is automatically displayed upon item selection, or is easily accessible through nearby items.

Conceptual Navigator Standard Edition, among many other features, can launch bookmarks in any Web browser; has an internal Web browser; can launch local documents in their associated applications; and can import IE Favorites, Netscape bookmarks, and links to local documents.
