Publisher's description of Compare PDF
From AKS-Labs:Compare PDF can compare both - related and non-related Adobe Acrobat PDF files. "By keywords" comparison feature highlights common and unique keywords, allowing comparing non-related PDFs. Word-by-word comparison compares files with a common ancestor. Folder comparison function allows comparing two folders and Adobe Acrobat PDF files within it. If you work with plain text, then you can edit compared documents, apply or decline changes. Finally, you can bring comparison details to simple or advanced structured report.

Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Cons: I tried to open files and the program kept asking for a password even though my files aren't protected by password. Couldn't even try it. Wouldn't pay a cent for it.

Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Pros: Never got a chance to test.
Cons: Program did not launch in Vista

Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Pros: Only took 20 minutes to get rid of
Cons: I have a plain vanilla XP installation. This thing failed on first attempt, and locked up the whole opsys on second. What exactly the CNET editor was thinking I don't know.

"Flaky software with good interface."
Pros: Interface looks clean and simple to use.
Cons: Program crashes. Useless as it sits.

Version: Compare PDF 2.1
Pros: The User Interface looks nice but as described in the Cons I never actually got to compare PDF Files!
Cons: The program keeps crashing when I try to load a single PDF File! The first one I tried had about 300 pages so I thought okay ... maybe that's too big. The next one I tried had only 12 pages but several figures. This time it crashed as well after it took a long time to process or whatever it was doing. I was too frustrated to try a single page text-only PDF.
