  "Not Great"

  Pros: The firewall itself seems quite good(good result at GRC).

  Cons: Updates were difficult to download.It caused many system crashes and then when u try to uninstall it doesnt like it one bit.Look elsewhere like Sunbelt Kerio Firewall would be my advice.

  "my first negative rating..."

  Pros: its free and does a half decent job. does not work as well as netveda, sygate or zonealarm

  Cons: beware of this program once you install it.. it does not want to be uninstalled...just a headache of a program.

  "WARNING CREATES SYSTEM ERRORS"

  Pros: The firewall its self is very good. loads on start-up no-messing. stops all activity between your pc and the internet which tends to be annoying.

  Cons: after installing this my computer had crashed four times in two days, and each time a serious system error occured. it had never done this before until now, i havent a clue what kind of damage its done to my laptop, each time this occurred i sent an error report to Microsoft so they know about this.

  Also id like to point out that i had a lot of problems connecting to the internet. i use a wireless connection and it took me about 30mins to connect throughout the entire time i had it. i had to mess with my internet connection settings to get it working.

  overall this product is is risky to use and has a poor, non-relevant interface design that doesnt help the user in any way, my advice:

  STAY CLEAR!!!!

  "New version 2.0 is out, its great!"

  Pros: Nice GUI. Strong packet filter. Passes all leaktests. Nice advanced options. Good customer support. Prompt updates. Not to mention, its free!

  Cons: High memory usage, around 45 MB RAM with all features enabled.

  "Great solution to slow Zonealarm!"

  Pros: It's pretty fast and it only uses about 32mb of RAM, Zonealarm uses so much for So far there have been no errors or glitches. It allows you to see the graphs of each program using your internet, along with detailed specs of your connection. It monitors each program, just like zonelaram does, and asks if you want it to connect to the internet. I'm pretty sure it has good protection against hackers.

  Cons: You have to "activate" it, but that's just one email. The free activation liscense only lasts for a year, but it's really worth it! It doesn't pop up little windows every second that say "Blocked an incomming connection!" like Zonealarm does. (Might be a good thing since it's less annoying, or it could be bad since 'maybe' it isn't blocking incoming connections to my PC)
