Publisher's description
From Jay Prall :Color Cop converts RGB decimal values to RGB hexadecimal triplets. It has a built-in color picker, color preview, auto copy to clipboard, and an eyedropper to choose colors from anywhere on the screen. Color Cop remembers the last screen position, the last color selected, the last mode (Delphi or HTML hex mode), auto on top, and auto-copy to clipboard options. It features an eyedropper, a magnifier, variable magnification levels, 3-by-3 and 5-by-5 average sampling, color history, and a 42-color complementary palette. Color Cop will convert RGB decimal values to hexadecimal color codes. It has color code support for HTML hex, Delphi hex, PowerBuilder, Visual Basic hex, and Visual C++ hex.
New in version 5.3: added Allow multiple instances option, Magnify while Eyedropping option, RGB int mode and RGB float mode, Relative position measurements, Detect Web Safe color, and Use Cross Hair cursor.

Version: Color Cop 5.3
"Need to find out what that color is on your screen?"
Pros: Its free.
Can tell you the 6 characteristic values of ANY color on your screen with the use of the MSPaint-esque eyedropper tool. Red-Green-Blue-Hue-Sat-Lum are the 6 categories it gives you.
Cons: Can't think of any.

Version: Color Cop 5.3
"No web designer should be without it!"
Pros: Not only is Color Cop completely free, it's tiny, doesn't use up processing power, it has a little draggable magnifying glass and can output colors in various modes (even HEX). The program saves your last selected mixed colors. It also has some intelligent options including the ability to auto-copy color codes to the clipboard. Highly recommended.
Cons: That I cannot kiss the person who invented it.

Version: Color Cop 5.3
Pros: I use the handy little eyedropper color picker for Web pages (hexadecimal values are a great feature), Publisher documents (getting the text the same RGB as the picture), and even for choosing colors for my desktop appearance! It features a complete custom color designator, and it even saves the last 8 colors you picked. You NEED this product!
Cons: As Nighted said, doesn't display XML color values, but for myself, that isn't an issue.
