Coin is a high-level 3D graphics library with a C++ Application Programming Interface. Coin uses scenegraph data structures to render real-time graphics suitable for mostly all kinds of scientific and engineering visualization applications. Coin is built on the industry-standard OpenGL immediate mode rendering library and is fully compatible with the SGI Open Inventor API.

What's new in this version:

  • completely Cygwin-less build setup for MS Windows / Visual Studio:
  • Visual Studio 6 project file in build/msvc6/
  • Visual Studio .NET 2003 solution in build/msvc7/ some minor API additions for internal optimization purposes
