"No more WYSIWYG"
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 12.5
Pros
None that I could find.
Cons
No WYSIWYG
Summary
I got this program because it had such high user and editor ratings. However, after spending a day trying to learn how to get the Visual Editor working, I discovered that it has been discontinued. I have since uninstalled this program.

"NO MORE VISUAL EDITOR"
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 12.5
Pros
Great for HTML programmers (if there are any left out there)
Cons
No visual editor (W.Y.S.I.W.Y.G. is G.O.N.E.)
Summary
I was stunned to learn (after installing the upgrade to Coffee Cup 12.5 that they have eliminated the Visual Editor feature. Never mind the documentation still tells you how to see it, it's not there (this confirmed by on-line chat with their senior development manager. Gone. Blaming Microsoft for no longer supporting whatsit, they kissed off all their user that might know a bit about HTML after managing web sites for a decade or so but really (like just about everyone) prefer to operate in WYSIWIG mode. See ya' later. They were nice enough to send me a link to download version 12 which was the last with WYSIWIG, but warned me that IT WILL NO LONGER BE SUPPORTED. Farewell Coffee Cup

"Nice program for beginner besides it gets the job done."
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 12
Pros
I've use this software on a couple of projects and I'm fairly impressed, has everything I need to code & work with, which now I'm interested in HTML5 and CSS3 for designing mobile websites.
I can honestly say I haven't put to it full protential as of yet but I will and then I may come back and add to this review.Cons
Bummmer you have to pay to use the visual editor and some other tools that comes with this software.
Summary
Overall I think if your a beginner, this where you need to start right here with this editor you'll learn just about everything you need to know about building web pages.

"Excellent software"
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 12
Pros
This program does what it should, works well. It has handy features like 'find and replace' which is nice when one is working with a large website with lots of pages.
Cons
It took a while for me to get used to the program and how to use it. One must not use the visual editor and the code editor at the same time. It will mess up the code.
Summary
Overall, good value for the money. Support is superb.

"This is not a free WYSIWYG editor"
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 12
Pros
It might be a good program, just never got past the upgrade button that pops up when ever you try to do anything
Cons
I downloaded this because I was looking for a free WYSIWYG editor, but the free version only allows for strict html coding. If you want the WYSIWYG editor than you have the purchase the upgrade. Only download if you are a coding guru!
Summary
total disappointment!
-

"basic code editor that has good benifits"
Version: CoffeeCup HTML Editor 2010SE
Pros
1. it allows you to create web pages by a pull up code list (ex... if i was to put <bod it would pull up <body> and when i cliked that it would put <body></body> so i just had to type inside the lines
2. it also allows you to use javascript and htmlCons
i honestly cannot think of any major besides the fact that there are some codes that have to be minipulated to work but so very few that it dosent bother me
Summary
overall i like CoffieCup the most beacuse it is basic enough for the beginer but works for the advanced as well it also has a feture where you can link your folder to not have to put full url;s and can add servers to auto update
