Coding a Web site isn't so hard--except for those darned menus. You could spend hours fiddling with colors, positioning, and all the rest, or you could take the easy route with CoffeeCup Free DHTML Menu Builder. Using the very straightforward tab-based interface, you create nodes and items for your menu and provide the Web links. From there you can play with size, color, borders, and fonts. Previewing the menu takes only a single click. When you're satisfied with the result, save the menu as JavaScript code and paste it into your Web page. CoffeeCup Free DHTML Menu Builder provides only one basic template, so it isn't for serious designers, but it'll do for a simple, no-fuss site.Publisher's description

Version: CoffeeCup Free DHTML Menu Builder 2.1
Pros: Quick and easy to create a simple text based dynamic menu. Novice developers will like the ease of use. Developers will like it as a short cut tool and then modify to desires. Good textual dynamic movement.
Cons: Code is not as easy as paste in. Needs to be simplified for novice to put into his/her application. Developers should have little or no problems preparing it for their application. Does not allow for graphics that I could see.

"You can't beat the price and there are just a couple changes I would like to see"
Pros: First , it's pretty easy to use and for the most part does what I want.
Cons: I would like the ability to move items up and down on the sublists. I realize thgis could be done working with the code, but having that ability in the software would really be super

"A simple way to create navigation menus"
Pros: EXTREME ease of use, easy to adjust, fast, with a small footprint and no install/uninstall issues.
Cons: Too limited for advanced users (who would probably not need it in the first place)

Pros: Its fast, easy and creates just what you need. Nice looking buttons with expandable nesting to match your website.
Cons: I don't know why they left out the ability to order the siblings. I.E. move up or down in the list. If you want to add a new item it always goes to the bottom. I like to order my list items alphabetically. Pitty, it's the only downfall really.
Summary: It's hard to beat, and it's free.
