From Heatsoft Corporation :Heatsoft Clone Cleaner is an easy-to-use program designed to find out and copy or remove duplicate files with same name, same size, same content on your local computer or network computers. With HCC you can easily reclaim disk space wasted by the entire extra unnecessarily file copies and keep your files well organized. HCC allows you to search dupes in multiple paths or drives. Detailed search criteria accelerate a search by filtering files by name, size, date, attributes and allow you to exclude certain folders.
The program divides found duplicates into groups that help easily navigate results. Unique smart marking feature enable you to keep files in particular locations and guarantee that their duplicates will be removed from elsewhere. Version 1.05 has the ability to view log files in the Log Viewer. Ability to use environment variables in paths. Ability to view files for delete from the Security alert message.

"I didn't know much about clones until I found HCC Lite"
Pros: When I started reading the Help portion of HCC Lite, I didn't realize that some App's. duplicate, and load up your hard drive. When you run HCC Lite, it will show you full clones, all you have to do is leave the original, and then tick the box on the clones, then click delete. HCC Lite sends the clones to your recycle bin, where you can leave them for a while to make sure everything's alright. Then when you feel comfortable clean out the recycle bin, and the end result is a faster running machine.

"A teaser program won't do the job unless you buy the whole program"
Cons: I was unable to try the program because it will only let you scan one drive, directory or subdirectory at the time. If you are trying to examine two drives against each other, or two folders against each other, it says you are out of luck unless you purchase their pro version. What a misdirect!! It says nothing in the review of cnet or the publisher about that
