Despite a couple of quibbles, this PDF-creation utility strikes us as a hassle-free and reliable choice. We like that Click to Convert PDF Creator integrates directly into Microsoft Office applicationss for easy access, and we appreciate the ability to simply drag and drop files into the main window when performing batch conversions. Still, we would have preferred the program to let us add files via a menu item, like more traditional applications. It's also unfortunate the app doesn't let you access any of its settings via the main interface; that dialogue box doesn't appear until you've chosen a file to transform. However, Click to Convert PDF Creator can be configured automatically to generate an HTML page at the same time it makes a PDF, a nice plus. You can password-protect PDFs, preserve certain or all formatting aspects, and add a text watermark, although you can't determine the location of the latter. In our tests, the program performed reasonably quickly and had no trouble keeping our original formatting when making both PDF and HTML files. This utility makes a nice fit for Webmasters working with large batches of documents.Publisher's description

Version: Click to Convert 5.12
"for HTML: POINTLESS!! (& $80) does what EXCEL can do anyway for HTML!"
Pros: for me & HTML: nothing, never use PDFs as awkward to read & use, PDF only good for printing from, on screen pdf is lousy
Cons: HTML coding exact same as EXCELS own SAVE AS WEBPAGE function!!! Doesn't even add DOCTYPE DTD definitions as required for a "proper" webpage & also USELESS for HTML as it only converts the whole page/file not a selected section. We gotta try 'em...

Version: Click to Convert 5.12
Pros: It looks pretty in Recycle Bin
Cons: In my first test it did not retain frames and workspaces in Word, no more tests.
Take a look at "Convert DOC to PDF For word" it does the job
very well.

"After uninstall, lots of junk and toolbars buttons left, also, 15 day trial?"
Cons: After uninstall, left way too many buttons and files that affected Microsoft Word, and other applications. There are "Click to Convert" buttons in toolbars, unable to be deleted... they also left a "Click to Convert" printer driver that cannot be deleted... Also Very short period of trial. this is a bunch of junk!

Version: Click to Convert 5.12
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Sharware version writes on the PDF that it was made by Click to Convert. A time trial would be nicer, or at least make this limitation clear before installing.
I can't uninstall the Word toolbar that came with this. Can't remove it either.
