From TigerLogic :Give your favorite search engine super strength by transforming your favorite search engine into an information powerhouse. ChunkIt searches within the pages of your engine's results to find your search terms in context. ChunkIt also searches Web pages and discovers information that conventional search tools may have never revealed. In addition to mining content on a Web page, ChunkIt will mine all of the links on that page for information relevant to your search. By clicking on a "chunk" in the left panel, ChunkIt will highlight that information in the context of its original Web page. There's no need to bounce between multiple windows. ChunkIt also makes it fast and easy to find information in reference manuals, PDFs, legal docs, and news sites. Version 1.1.1.0019 improved performance.

Pros: Does all the work for you...Goes through the links on a page and tells you where the stuff that you want is
Cons: takes up some space on the browser, but well worth it.
Summary: Great product...Will be using it a lot.

"Save bundles of time doing research."
Pros: ChunkIt! has a feature unlike any search engine or browser based search with Chunk Links. Chunk LInks allows a user to type in keywords and have each link in a page searched for those keywords.
Cons: Some of the buttons on the ChunkIt! bar are rarely used. Some of them do not bring anything to the table that hasn't been brought already. Other than that, it is a great search tool.
Summary: Ill go back to my spiel about Chunk Links. Lets say if I entered a keyword into the ChunkIt box and pressed Chunk Links while I was at download.com. This function will browse through the page that each link is redirected to and look for the keywords... read more >>
