From Chrysanth Software :Chrysanth Email Notifier is a POP3, IMAP4, and Gmail notification software that helps you to get notified of every incoming e-mail and even spams in your mailboxes while they are still sitting on the remote e-mail servers. Running in the background and minimized into a tray icon, Chrysanth Email Notifier will play a "You've got mail" sound whenever there are friendly e-mails that arrive at your e-mail accounts. Meanwhile, you may also configure Chrysanth Email Notifier to alert you with "You've got spam" sound whenever spams or junk e-mails are detected.
Chrysanth Email Notifier also has a number of other handy features including an internal e-mail viewer. This lets you read e-mails before you can see them in your regular e-mail client. Among its features are support for multiple e-mail accounts, support for SSL connection, support for "whitelists", "blacklists", and custom filters. The filters are very easy-to-use and can be defined by you very quickly.

Version: Chrysanth Email Notifier 2.3
Pros: It is quick, does show spam and you can read your e-mail.
Cons: You can't do anything with the e-mail once the program has notified you, that is unless you give them $30 dollars. Then you can delete the e-mails you don't want. It would be a nice program if you could delete the e-mail without paying them. I think I will stick with Pop Peeper.
