Version: Chilkat .NET Email Component (2.0 Framework) 7.4
Pros: Easy to implement.
Cons: I've used this email client component for over a year now and it is pretty buggy. I can't get it to work reliably. I purchased all of the components at a cost of $289. I'm going to have to scrap it. Support is non-existent.
Summary: Attachments for both MHT (HTML) and text emails are not reliable, i.e., it fails to send 25 - 30% of the time. Emails with no attachments are pretty reliable.

"Stay away from Chilkat Software Components"
Pros: None. Zero. Zip. Nadda.
Cons: All calls answered by answering machine only. Try it: 1-630-784-9670. Tech support calls and e-mails are ignored 100% of the time and the software is very buggy. Chilkat is a flat out credit card scam. I feel completely ripped off.
