Check Mail (POP) is a lightweight customizable new mail notification utility for any POP3 or e-mail account. It is capable of launching your mail client or a Web page (Web mail) of your choice. The user can change the alert sound, display a notification box, or even customize the icons. It works with SSL so you can use it to notify new mail into your GMail account. It is easy to install and very user-friendly.

Version: Check Mail (POP) 1.0
Pros: I like the product because it does the job and I don't have to sit and wait for my emails to come in, the program notifies me. I can change the sound wav and have it sound like 'HAL', or anyone else I want. I can even record my own voice and put it in there.
Cons: I can only get one pop mail at a time to come through it.

"it does a job, not useful for more than one pop email account"
Pros: Good for one email account only.
Cons: It worked one time, then failed to open my Outlook program. It did check for mail but that's it. This needs a lot of work even to be called software.

Pros: You can configure it, it is very easy, install is fast, you dont need to restart, it works in the tray! You can even change icons and everything. This program makes you feel better. :)
