As any dieter knows, counting calories is the most tedious part of losing weight. That's where CalorieKing.com Diet Diary comes in. It's a powerful tool for watching what you eat and how many calories you consume. It comes with one of the largest databases we've seen of foods and their caloric values. You select what you've eaten for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks, and Diet Diary calculates the number of calories you've consumed that day. You also can choose from a list of exercises and activities to factor in how many calories you've burned. True to its name, Diet Diary also offers charting, diet planning, and daily meal plans. We tested most of its features and found they worked flawlessly. The stylish design is a pleasant bonus. It's no substitute for willpower, but CalorieKing.com Diet Diary is a fine tool for the calorie-conscious.Publisher's description

Version: CalorieKing Diet, Nutrition and Exercise Manager 4.0.4
"Excellent, really helps me focus myself"
Pros: The program covers all the details I wanted to track, plus more. It has tons of pre-entered food information, including restaurant menu items from lots of popular chains. (Who knew Chili's food was so high in calories?)
I am so pleased with how easy it was to set up (and a little frightened by the BMI... but it's definitely information I should be aware of as I work on my fitness plan)
I believe this is the missing link to my previous attempts at changing my lifestyle and may help me keep from slipping once I reach my goals.

"Great interface, easy to use"
Pros: Very beautiful interface. Very easy to use. It does all the calculations for you. You only need to enter your food and exercise. Great copy day feature.
Cons: Online forum requires paid membership. It has all the measurement entries to calculate body fat percent and still doesn't calculate it.

"Great product, Huge database of food!"
Pros: I've been downloading programs from download.com for a long long time, but I've never felt the need to purchase one, until now. I downloaded this program and fell in love with it. it's so easy to search for food in the database or to add your own food. It has all the major restaurants and fast food chains in the database too. The database also updates itself, and new foods are added often (from what i can tell). You get green check marks when you are under your calorie limit and when you have exercised enough for the day. The product really does help me stay on track, If I know I have to enter I ate a big mac, then I'm less apt to do it. It also makes going out to dinner easier. If I'm going to chili's, I can look up the food I want to eat before I leave, when i get to the restaurant I know what I'm eating and exactly how bad it is for me.

"Lacks features for a power user"
Pros: Tracks a good deal of information, easy to use. doesn't crash, tracks exercise
Cons: Unable to export everything you put into it. I can't export to create better reporting. For example sugar can't be exported.. Search feature within software should be much easier.
Summary: I really like the product. However I believe there is a good deal of features that are lacking that I would like to humbly suggest that would make this product more useable.
1. The export feature is fairly lacking. There are several fiel... read more >> -
