Calorie Smart offers interactive calculators along with guidelines for a healthier lifestyle, but it lacks the depth of other health and nutrition programs.
The program doesn't require installation; just run the executable file and you're ready to go. Simple navigational buttons make it easy to flip through the guide, and you'll find a number of options to search and view all sections. Two calculators determine the calorie count in beverages and measure daily nutritional requirements. Calorie Smart also offers basic facts about metabolism and calories, with low-cal recipes, a 20-day diet plan, and general health and fitness advice.
However, unlike other nutrition programs, only the calculators are interactive. You can't create your own menus or exercise plans. While Calorie Smart might benefit users making those preliminary steps toward better health, there are more comprehensive and customizable diet and fitness programs readily available.
