  Pros: Extremely configurable. Finds problems no other validator can spot. Very few false positives.

  Version: CSE HTML Validator Professional 7.01

  "Excellent product. It was easy to learn and use."

  Pros: Over the years I have used this product in its standard version, it has helped me to upgrade enormously the technical quality of my webpages.

  I always do a final check using a W3C validator and a CSS validator, and only very occasionally has CSE Validator missed an error in markup.

  I use this program by choice to write webpages. It picks out my errors very quickly once I begin to check the page.

  I am one of those intuitive webpage designers and I have found the product good to use and logical.

  I have also found the personal contact with the author when I got into a real jam very reassuring.

  I am glad I have found it.

  Cons: There are certain small features I would like to improved, for example in choosing colors. This aspect could be improved.

  I find it a struggle sometimes to get into the detail of the help function. Maybe that's me!

  "Excellent product that traps pretty well every non-compliance."

  Pros: Validation is very quick and thorough. Easy to use editor. Very, very flexible. Also validates XHTML as well as accessibility, CSS, and others.

  Cons: Using W3C's validation service does find a few extra problems. (In fairness, CSE HTML Validator also finds problems that the W3C's validator doesn't!)

  Version: CSE HTML Validator Professional 7.01

  "The perfect product for me."

  Pros: I'm a self-taught webmaster who designs and manages sites part time - mostly as a hobby. Standards compliance is important to me. I don't have time to check my site on a million different browsers so if the code is good - the site is good.

  The program checks for errors and makes suggestions with the click of a button. I am currently transitioning from HTML 4.01 to XHTML 1.1 - with ease.

  I have used this product for years. It's easy to use, inexpensive, and updated frequently to keep up with W3C standards. I often 'spot check' my pages on the W3C site - CSE HTML Validator Pro never misses!

  Best of all, support from the company is there when you need it. All of my email questions or suggestions have been personally answered promptly.

  Al and his product are tops!
