This free browser add-on lets users search for their favorite song artists or browse by music genre, but the publisher's site was down each time we tried to access it.
CDArmy Toolbar stretches on top of your browser window and employs search engines and the publisher's site--CDArmy.com--for search inquiries. It comes preloaded with standard toolbar features such as a pop-up blocker, trace cleaners, e-mail notifier, and weather forecasts, and these worked well in our tests. You can customize the toolbar by removing unused buttons or adding buttons for quick access to Microsoft and Windows applications.
CDArmy Toolbar's main claim to fame is quick access to log in and browse for artists on the publishers' site, but CDArmy.com wasn't available during our tests. Despite the publisher's claims that the toolbar works with Internet Explorer and Firefox, it only installed in IE for us. There are so many free toolbars on the market that users should find another way to find their favorite music, and skip this faulty freebie.
