CNET Editors' review
This simple utility makes ripping CDs to MP3, WMA, OGG, or WAV files a breeze, but a couple of issues make it less attractive than it might otherwise be. CD to WMA MP3 Ripper's baby-blue main window is as straightforward as they come. The program extracts tracks quickly, though the latest demo version will rip only the first five tracks on any disc. Like any respectable CD ripper, this one lets you configure the audio quality of your new files as well as encode tracks using the VBR compression scheme. However, CD to WMA MP3 Ripper does have two pretty big problems. First of all, it can't query the Internet for artist and track information, so you have to label all your songs by hand. Secondly, it consumes a ridiculous 50MB of hard-drive space, way more than many of its competitors. However, if those problems don't bother you, this program should make a suitable choice.Publisher's Description
