"CD-ROM XViewer" is a pretty nice freeware made by Eventi Progetti Speciali, who has been developing CdRoms in Director using Macintosh for years, and is quite depressed because so many products showing the "Made with Macromedia" logo are actually only for Windows! This is quite sad, as we know that creating the Macintosh version is really easy! So, we've decided to develop in Director this small "engine", which allows Mac users to navigate most of the onlyWindows-CdRoms, as long as they are created with Director (you can recognize them as they have the "Made with Macromedia" logo somewhere, usually in the booklet).
Besides, "CD-ROM XViewer" allows you to run natively on OSX CdRoms that were created for OS9, making you able to view your multimedial library without having to run Classic!
What's new in this version:
- CD-ROM XViewer is an update of previous "E20 4 Mac", with two new important features:
- it has been recompiled with Director MX!!! So that you can view all the CdRoms created for Windows using your OSX environment!
- This version also allows you to view all the multimedia products created with previous versions of Director (which were not OsX-compatible), smoothly and natively on OS X.
