From CCleaner:CCleaner is a system optimization and privacy tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It's fast (normally taking less that a second to run). It cleans: Internet Explorer (Temporary files, URL history, cookies, Autocomplete form history, index.dat); Firefox (Temporary files, URL history, cookies, download history); Windows (Recycle Bin, Recent Documents, Temporary files, and Log files); Registry cleaner (Advanced features to remove unused and old entries, including File Extensions, ActiveX Controls, ClassIDs, ProgIDs, Uninstallers, Shared DLLs, Fonts, Help Files, Application Paths, Icons, Invalid Shortcuts. So comes with a comprehensive backup feature.)
Version 1.41.544 includes several changes such as fixing IE7 history cleaning in Vista, adding Safari cleaning, updating translations, and other improvements.

Although it lacks a few of the bells and whistles found in other PC-cleaning applications, this free program offers more than enough features to make it a worthy download. CCleaner's interface is logically designed and makes it easy to wipe away your tracks from Internet Explorer and Mozilla, various Windows system areas, and some third-party applications.
CCleaner doesn't support a large number of extraneous programs as some competitors do, but it can erase traces from such popular programs as Spybot - Search & Destroy and WinZip. Also missing is a secure file shredder, but it makes up for the omission by supplying a Registry-cleaning utility, which quickly scans for invalid entries before removing them. CCleaner can even back up your Registry before removal, in case it accidentally removes a crucial component, and the download includes a feature for uninstalling any program on your machine.
Since this free application handles the majority of PC-cleaning chores and offers a nice extra, we have no problem recommending CCleaner to all users, except those who need to get rid of supersensitive data.

Pros: good tool if you know how to use it properly..
i like the way you can use it from the recycle bin
Cons: you have to be careful what you delete ..
after i messed with the settings a bit i found out that i could not auto log into forums or certain sites anymore !!!

Pros: wow it removed 361.8mb and it found so much stuff on my pc that i did not know about...aww my pc runs faster now not like before...good stuff....the other part i like is u can click on what u wanna removed...thats a good thing to know....
Cons: just be careful on what u delete

Pros: Nothing comes close to CCleaner at a free price. Lots of options to choose from, comes with a few neat extra feature such as an uninstaller and start-up checklist. On the first scan it removed 5%-10% of the system content, removed most of the junk. My once slow computer now runs at super-speed! Get this now!
