I used this software almost every day, until a problem occured with my PC that meant I needed a system restore. To my horror there were no restore points on my PC. It took some investigation to find the culprit, it was Ccleaner! Don't take my word for it, run cleaner and then check your system restore points. unless you are very lucky there won't be any.
Only settings used:
Remove: Temporary internet files, Cookies, History, Temporary files and empty re-cycle bin. -

I request cnet.com to fix this ripping off of clients and do not allow such abuse of the internet space

Well my aunt told me about this program and i had previously tried to run REG Cure, but it would only scan my hard drive and according to it i had 1000 some errors. I figured i should give it a shot. When i ran it, it ran perfectly. I noticed no difference in my machine contrary to what my aunt told me should happen. I decided to run some programs to see if they booted up faster. First I tried my default browser, Google Chrome. It came up with the unable to load page on common sites that shouldn't be down like Google and Yahoo. I ran and checked my inteernet connection, it was fine and my router was working because i could get on the internet with my other laptop. I restated my connection on my laptop to no avail. Next i opened Mozilla Firefox (at that time on version 3). Same thing. Then i tried Opera (version 10 Alpha), Safari (4 beta) and Internet Explorer 8. None worked. I restarted my computer five times before Chrome would slowly open Google. On the eighth restart it finally worked normal again. regardless to say i removed the program. DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU VALUE YOUR COMPUTER!!!!!

I like it because it never lets me down it cleans quickly with no problems at all. Theres also a backup for the reg clean if anything go's wrong. Had not one problem with ccleaner its fast.
