Clunky and underpowered, CAM UnZip doesn't have much to recommend it. Windows XP users can pass it right by, since it only reads and creates files in ZIP format, and XP has a ZIP function built-in. The program lets you password-protect your archives, but it lacks other essential features, such as the ability to create self-unpacking files or tune the compression level. The interface looks outdated and doesn't let you add files to an archive by using the Windows Explorer right-click menu. To be fair, CAM Unzip is free, but so are plenty of other, much better archival utilities.Publisher's Description

Used it for years, and never had a problem, if you want simple this is it.
Cons
It does not ask where to put the software,You after to click to create a file and file name for your unzipped programs, other wise it unzipps them to default.

It's free. The user interface is simple, In fact, so simple, the extra tabs arn't needed. It seems to be bug free, and I saw no adware.
Cons
It takes a long time to read the contents, but more important, it doesn't remember the last settings or folder you restored to. It selects 'extract all files' even when you have selected a subset, and it defaults to creating a folder. If you forget to check the settings each and every time, you can really screw stuff up.

not really sure why but my other software from here say the same thing that only a part disk is found. not sure what it means. anyways i tried cam unzip to see if i got a different answer but i did not..it freezes instead

Simple to use. Nice icons for your system zip folders.
Cons
At the end of extracting, the program leaves you with a hide button. I wish it would say Finish or Close instead. But you can't really complain when it's free.

Pros
This program is user friendly and a great tool. It makes compressing and decompressing files quick and easy. Even a child could master it. Takes up little room on your hard drive, and will automatically associate itself with ZIP files. I reccomend this to anyone in need of an unzipper. ^_^
