Version: CA Anti-Virus 2009
"Many Better Antivirus Programs"
Pros: Decent interface. System won't get bogged down with malware or excessive resource consumption.
Cons: CA has very weak protection against several of the more prevalent overt fraudware viruses (the ones that pretend they are a security program and advise you you've been infected- click here to remove infections.)
Summary: I used to think CA was cool because of the Yahoo toolbar anti-spy tool by CA (I also thought CA stood for California, but that's besides the point.) CA has weak security, can be a nightmare to install and uninstall (64-bit users- RUN!), and has a lo... read more >>

Version: CA Anti-Virus 2009
Pros: It detect and remove threats that other antivirus not detect. i.e. I scanned my PC with AVG 9.0 it did not detect "win32/armax!ini" and "win32/yahlover.ka" virus but CA Antivirus detect and delete these viruses.
Cons: It slows computer little and sometime it detects virus but not delete it. Such as it detect "Win32/Dolagun.G worm" but not took any action against it. In status it shows infected
