While we appreciated this free toolbar's standard features, they just weren't unique enough to make Buzz Free SMS Toolbar stand out among the thousands of other toolbar available on the market.

By stretching across your IE window, Buzz Free gives you the look and feel you expect from a toolbar. But its shortcut buttons looked like little color blobs, and it was difficult to discern what each represented, since hovering our mouse over each one didn't reveal its function. It offers a long list of search engines from which to choose, but we found that you can't search for a specific word using the search box. Rather, you have to search directly from the Web site, which kind of defeats the purpose of having a search function. Fans of social-networking sites might appreciate the publisher's own version, but it's not quite on par with the more popular sites. The drop-down menus were awkward to navigate because they took over our entire screen when we opened the list.

On a more positive note, the radio player worked very well, didn't skip, and came with a decent selection of stations. But that's still not enough to warrant a recommendation from us. There are plenty of other toolbars out there that offer more than just the basics.
