From Rozland Productions :Bruce's Unusual Typing Wizard is cleanly constructed software to learn and practice typing. It is designed to accommodate both beginners and experienced typists who are looking to gain speed or accuracy. This software also has a unique algorithm, which is able to detect if a user is typing slightly off and adjust the typing position. This eliminates frustration of typing many mistakes when a letter is omitted or added. A game is also included, in order to help practice unusual letter combinations. Multiple users are supported and each stores its own statistics. The user can change the text that is used to practice typing, in order to practice something more familiar, if that is desired. This feature can also be used to input a different language to practice. The onscreen keyboard and the game can also be modified to accommodate any Western language or keyboard layout.
Version 1.3.1 includes bug fixes and changes program’s interface.

Version: Bruce's Unusual Typing Wizard 1.3.1
Pros: This software is very easy to use. It does not spend a lot of time teaching the user to type nonsense syllables the way that other typing programs do. Once you learn where the key is, and the appropriate finger to use to type it with, the software uses actual meaningful words, which is very useful for those who want to learn, as well as those who want to brush up on their skills. Also, you can choose to enable or disable the backspace key, which is very handy. It remembers the lessons that you were using on exit, and opens that lesson again on restart. The interface is simple and very aesthetically pleasing. The tone of the instructor's writing is very familiar and easygoing, so you don't feel stupid or slow when learning. I would definately recommend this program for those who are either beginning to type, or those who want to brush up on their skills.

"Good free product, with some minor annoyances"
Pros: Pretty easy to get started. I can type pretty fast without looking at the keyboard, but I don't do it "right" I'm just an experienced "hacker" that needs to be taught some good form. I think this program will kill me by forcing me to type correctly, but it will ultimately improve my typing. Overall worth the download.
Cons: The user interface is a bit funky. If you use the mouse to click in the text box where you type (for the lesson) it takes you to the next lesson and there doesn't seem to be a way to go back without deleting the user and starting all over again. That bit is totally frustrating. Also the X button doesn't seem to close the program like you would expect it to. Just a minor picky thing because I'm in a picky mood after being reduced to 5-10 wpm by typing "properly" :-)

Pros: All this program has is pros!!! I've searched throughout Download.com for a typing program to teach my mother how to type and no other program could possibly compare to this one!!! I've typed on programs that cost money and this freeware is just as good as those!!! The game is great and very easy to get in to. I'm almost an expert typer and yet this game is still a challenge and at the same time not too much of a challenge for beginners. Best current freeware out there. I wouldn't recommend any other typing software!
Cons: It doesn't come with a real person to explain where each of your fingers is to be positioned. Ha, ha, ha, ha!!!!!!!!

Pros: good interface, 13 typing lessons and games to play, free of course also a good way to learn how to type, I downloaded so my little sister can learn how to type which she found easy.....
Cons: one of the cons that I found is that when you want to close the application it is impossible to do, I had to use the task managger in order to close it. Also some more games will be great....
