"Great but not so user-friendly interface"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
1. Android games can be played in the PC
2. Easy to download applications.
3. Enable smartphone user to play application in a large screen rather than phone screen.Cons
1. Limited applications available.
2. The application key control is not available.
3. Graphic is not good enough for PC use.Summary
This application is a great application as it enable the android based application played in PC. however, the interface is not good enough as the key control is not available (example : Drag Racing only can be played in PC via Mouse).

"Could be better"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
It's small.
Cons
Only limited apps available.
-
"Be wary. Don't use."
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
You can load an apk. There is some information on web about making registry change to decrease screen size to near phone size.
Cons
Can't uninstall preloaded applications seemingly. Can't free-up menu of icons - once they are there the are there to stay. Inflexible and of limited use. There are seemingly many services and background applications loaded that may be a given for a smartphone, but are uncomfortable on a laptop/desktop situation, especially for a professional applications developer.
Summary
VERY serious security and operating system concerns. Probably unwittingly and/or without alternative give broad permissions to upload/download programs and information like is done on a phone. BlueStacks is not even under Google Market guidelines. Risk not worth gain of running own apks. Originally thought BlueStacks could be used to allow stakeholders to easily look at developmental work. Again, risk and obvious deficiency of program not suitable or recommended for any professional-type use.

"Really cool stuff"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
I was wondering why should anyone run their android apps on a PC at all. But trust me, the experience of running apps on a 19" screen is awesome.
Cons
Does not work on XP. I tried it on my 15" notebook with Win7 but when I moved to my XP desktop, it won't install.
Not all apps work for now.Summary
A very cool idea and a decent implementation for an alpha.
Eagerly looking forward to version 1.0 -

"Very cool! Greatest thing since sliced bread"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
fast, seamless
Cons
Why are you forcing me to enter cons. There aren't any.
Summary
great product. I would recommend buying it once they release the pro version. I think google will buy this company in 6 months.

"Great Product... very innovative idea"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
You can run lots of android applications in full screen.
Cons
Doesn't work on windows XP
-
"Really Impressed"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
I've been waiting for something like this for a long time. It took a couple tries to install which was annoying but once I had it running it was better than I expected. Way better than any emulator, though that's basically what it is. I've been pushing apps from my GalaxyTab to BlueStacks with their mobile app like an addict. They are calling this an "alpha" version which I thought was funny, and apt. If this version's any indication it's got a bright future.
Cons
- took a couple tries to install
- some apps don't work yetSummary
This is truly a breakthrough bit of software and solid if slightly buggy first effort. Looking forward to their Pro version, whenever that comes out.

"This actually makes my Windows tablet useful"
Version: BlueStacks alpha
Pros
Apps feel fast and fluid.
Multi-touch works great (try Google Maps to see what I mean).
Syncs with my phone apps so I don't have to manage apps separately.
Runs most of the apps that I threw at it. I'm sure their Pro version will cover the rest.
Pulse on a big monitor is just plain cool.Cons
I'm not sure I want it to always run fullscreen. An option to run it windowed would be nice.
Summary
Windows clearly wasn't designed with touch in mind, so using Windows apps on a touch screen is very frustrating. App Player finally lets me use my Windows tablet with apps that were actually designed for a tablet.
