Have you ever wished you could, in a few seconds, "protect" or "hide" a large part of a project, or a big piece of the OS X desktop? You can simply select-and-drag files to BlackHole, and with your very own Secret Key---which you choose and which nobody else knows---you can "absorb" material into the Hole. Later, you can use your Secret Key to "emit" the material back to where it belongs. NOTE however that the free BlackHole has a "timeout" of 2 weeks, and that this free version has relatively weak encryption. We have a version for sale (BlackHole Pro $59.00), which has advanced encryption options, plus the ability to emanate "Transportable MiniHoles," which are vehicles for carrying encrypted information between users.
