From BitPim Team :BitPim is a program that allows you to view and manipulate data on many CDMA phones from LG, Samsung, and Sanyo. This includes the phonebook, calendar, wallpapers, ringtones (functionality varies by phone) and the file system for most Qualcomm CDMA chipset based phones. Includes several changes such as improving read/write data block size for LG VX-8700/9400, adding support for LG AX-8600, fixing bug on float file timestamp, and other improvements. Version 1.0.4 includes unspecified updates.

Pros: Works perfectly with my LG VX8350. Saved me a boatload of time. Be sure to plug USB directly into computer, not monitor, hub etc.

Pros: Had this software in the past and really liked it. Free and solid. I had to load a separate driver though. Be warned about this particular downloads parasite.
Cons: Like D n A prtzl said, my anti-virus program warns there's a worm lurking in this download.

"Excellent, as basic programs go, regardless of cost."
Pros: As far as basic programs go for accessing and updating your phone's information, BitPim has been very helpful to me over the years. There ARE other programs out there that will do what BitPim does, but often, you can only get trial versions of them.
Cons: As implied above, if you want more bells and whistles, and a program that makes it crystal clear exactly what you're changing and where, you'll want to go for something more extensive; just be prepared to pay for it later.
Summary: As long as the version of BitPim that you download works with your phone, it's a great program for allowing you to access the basic information in your phone. I was able to use BitPim also, with no problems, to create my own ringtones, and enjoyed ... read more >>

Pros: Works great with my enV2. No issues, no crashes. A solid program. Easily able to add ringtones, pull photos and videos.
Cons: UI could be better.
