It's easy to operate, but this application is not a perfect keylogger. Big Brother Keylogger's opening cluttered interface luckily includes a simple start capture wizard. After some time with the program, the interface becomes much easier to follow. The majority of commands are invoked with a single click on large buttons. Options are easy to set and most need no explanation. The program barely needs the single page of instructions found under the Help menu.
Big Brother Keylogger performs well in the primary functions of this genre. It is easy to invoke, hides well, and captures key strokes, programs invoked, and Web sites visited. You can set it to capture screenshots every select number of seconds, though it can't be set to capture at program start or Web site selected. It isn't difficult to hide the program from family members and novice users. The demo's process is easy to find in Task Manager, but uses less memory than Windows Explorer.
A minor downside is that the very novice user may not know how to properly configure the utility to send update e-mails, but the program's instructions should help most get this function set up. Big Brother Keylogger is a solid performer that should satisfy parents and small business owners with basic keylogging needs.
Publisher's description
From SiteWorks :Sometimes everyone needs a Big Brother, Keeping your children safe, spouse honest, and employees in line. Big Brother Keylogger is a user-friendly surveillance tool that runs in a completely invisible stealth mode, automatically at your computers startup. Big Brother records keystrokes entered, programs run, websites visited (even if the user cleans the browser history and cache), Chatting sessions (including AIM, AOL, Yahoo, MSN, ICQ, GoogleTalk, IE, Netscape and Firefox), passwords, instant messages, screen snapshots at set intervals, plus much more. Big Brothers Unique playback mode lets you view captured keystrokes/ programs/ Webpages/ screenshots in real time, while Webpages are actually cached for viewing offline. All information captured is stored in an encrypted log file. The log file can be sent secretly and automatically at scheduled intervals to any specified email address, or reviewed locally.

Version: Big Brother Keylogger 2.9
Pros: The software was easy to get running. I saw another more expensive key logger for sale, but this does what I want it to do without wasting a lot of money on it. I used it to peek at what my kids were doing online - I don't need a super top secret program that you need to be a computer scientist to figure out how to set up and run it. This did exactly what I wanted.
Cons: Be carefull of the trial version - it's just that, a trial version and not the same as the purchased version. You can see how the program works, but I wouldn't use it to monitor a computer.

Version: Big Brother Keylogger 2.9
Pros: -It does what is says it will do.
-The interface is fairly user friendly.
-Fairly inexpensive, but you get what you pay for.
Cons: - Tech support is unreliable.
-The feature that emails you the report only works when an email program like Outlook is open. So, if the user being monitored only uses web based email like Yahoo, then you are out of luck as far as getting an emailed report. Sometimes, even with the email program open, the program won't even send a test message. Very wishy washy feature.
- It affected the performance of the computer so the user went looking for the source of the problem. Not good if you are trying to hide the fact the program is there.
-It monitors sporadically. For reasons unknown to me, the program seems to stop the capture when it feels like it. I set the program to stealth and then left town for a week. I came back and the program had only recorded a few hours of activity for the day I set the program and nothing else. It mysteriously started monitoring again when I opened up the program to look at the report that wasn't there. As I said before, tech support is unreliable. They do not respond to my emails.
- There is no help file for you to try and troubleshoot on your own. Your only help is tech support and good luck with that.
- It shows up in the Add/Remove Programs menu and in the Task Manager. How is this stealth...especially when the user being monitored is fairly computer savvy? The set-up instructions tell you to rename the program to something less suspicious but still, the user will know that it is not a program they installed.
- There are times when the hot key to open the program does not work. So you are sitting there pressing the keys in vain. It will eventually open if you don't get frustrated and give up first.
I've wasted $30 on this. I'm going to uninstall it and find a better one.

"Boyfreind caught sneaking around"
Pros: Easy to install and use. After installing the trial of this program, I finally saw what my boyfriend was "working" on at night when he was on his computer. Turns out he was chatting with his X, who desperately wanted him back, and i confronted him and nipped it in the bud...Thank you Big Brother!!
Cons: my trial ran out and i wish i knew what happened in the 2 days between the expired trial and when I bought the program and reinstalled it

"Best Keylogger I've tried - By Far!!"
Pros: Ive tried a few keyloggers before this one, I got a trojan horse in one, my anti virus detected another, and the user interface was too confusing in two others I downloaded a trial for. Big Brother was an easy to use program, that did exactly what it said it would. I wanted to monitor my kids online, and after installing the trial, I bought the full version less than 3 days later!
Cons: The graphics aren't too flashy, but I guess thats not important, since it runs invisibly

"Trial Version will Blow Your Cover!!!!"
Cons: I only had the software installed for less then 12 hours. I installed the trial (which was supposed to be 30 days and was only 7) and it seemed to work great. I got the program set up and went to bed. The next morning I decided to check just to see if it was working properly and when I signed on to my husband's computer a pop-up came on the screen telling me that the software only had 6 days remaining on it. Good thing I checked before he did or my cover would have been completely blown. I was so mad I uninstalled it and found a better product.
