This program is a convenient way to carry the Bible with you on your personal computer, and provides many handy tools to facilitate Bible study. It's a great resource, particularly for students, ministers, and teachers.
The interface is clean, easy to use, and has options for turning parts of it off and on for uncluttered viewing. Bible Pro has many features, such as the ability to export chapters of the Bible as Word documents, PDFs, or HTML, as well as a built-in note-taking utility. It has the option to e-mail parts of the Bible, but when we tried this, we were prompted to open our e-mail program, which is problematic if the user uses Web-based e-mail. The program has an option that allows the user to listen to passages from the Bible. When we clicked on this option, the program directed us to a Web site, where the user can choose to listen to passages in either Flash or Real Audio format.
The program installs and uninstalls easily, and does not ask the user to provide any personal information. It has a drop-down Help menu. From there, the user can find help on the program's Web site, or watch Help videos, or capture a screenshot to send to the program's creators for help with specific issues. Bible Pro is free, but it offers expanded features such as Bible maps and book libraries for a fee. We think this is a comprehensive and robust program that users will enjoy.

"Don't be fool, it's not so easy"
Pros: Looks like a decent Bible browser, if you only want to brows 2 versions simply.
Cons: The site lists that it has 43 different versions of the Bible. This is true but only if you order the "free CD" from them -- and you have to pay the shipping/handling for it. Additionally, email required to register it.
Summary: For all I know this would be a great program, but I'm not going to take the time to order their "free CD" -- free except for shipping/handling -- in order to have more than two versions of the Bible. (American Standard and King James -- and I'm gue... read more >>
