This application offers a decent set of privacy-protection tools, though help information isn't readily accessible for all areas. Best Privacy Pack is compiled of three tools to maintain your online privacy. The privacy-patrol feature blocks IP messenger ads, kills pop-up ads, and can clean up a few Internet Explorer tracks such as leftover cookies, history, and caches. There's also a browser-hiding hot key for IE users and another to restore it. The password container, the only tool to include a help file, is an encrypted database to restore and quickly recall your passwords and user names. Lastly, Best Privacy Pack's folder hider proves excellent for hiding folders, but without a help file, we aren't sure how to bring them back. This application isn't the most impressive, but it does provide the basics for free.

  Pros: There is nothing to like about this product.

  Cons: It is poorly designed and there is absolutely no tech support. I used it to "hide" a test folder and nothing will bring it back. There are no instructions and their web page is basically just an ad. Do a web search and you will see that the only folks that recommend it are sites that I wouldn't trust. I am very dissapointed CNET did not completely pan this in their review. It is complete and utter garbage!

  "Screwed up my sysem so bad, i had to reset my system to a previouse date"

  Pros: nothing

  Cons: hid my programs but after i tried to unhide them, they never came back, it took me forever to get my computer back the way i like it.

  Pros: nothing ...makes yur work hell

  Cons: once used no coming back..u loose ur flders...they cannot be unlocked...no help from the site
