This free pop-up blocker handles its business just fine, but doesn't really distinguish itself from its numerous competitors. Since Bayden PopupPopper appears as an icon on your Web toolbar, it forces you to shut down all browser windows before completing its installation. The interface is as simple as can be, consisting of only two sections, one for allowed sites and one for blocked sites. You can set Bayden PopupPopper to play a sound when it quashes an ad, but that's about the only configuration option you get. We also wished the app could eliminate banner and Flash ads, abilities found in many other pop-up blockers. Though it capably kills all pop-ups that come its way, for every ad the program first generates a window asking what to do, which gets extremely annoying. This utility will do the trick for users who just need to get rid of basic pop-ups, but those seeking extra features and support for Flash and banner ads have plenty of other choices.Publisher's description
From Bayden Systems :Take command of your browser. Blast unwanted pop-ups while allowing the ones from sites you trust. Unlike many other pop-up-removal programs, PopupPopper contains no spyware and allows you to control what gets popped and what does not.

Version: Bayden PopupPopper 1.1
Cons: Terrible! I couldn't log in to my web site mail panel and experienced other troubles while surfing with this software. It seems to pop all pop-ups even those showed when I myself click on a link to open a good pop-up such as login or settings window! Couldn't make this software stay on my computer for more than a half an hour because of that

Version: Bayden PopupPopper 1.1
Pros: Bayden PopupPopper stops certain kind of pop-ups
Cons: It does ask you about each and every pop-up it can block with its own pop-up which is as much annoying as ad pop-ups themselves. Why not to block pop-ups automatically and don't ask stupid questions while I surf? For example, pop-ups which are opened when I enter or leave a page would most certainly be a pop-up with advertisement

"I don't see a way to re-open a blocked popup"
Cons: I found no way to see which popups have been blocked by PopupPopper. It either blocks them with its own popup window which show no details about the popup it is about to stop or silently. What if after inspecting the page I find out that I still need to open the popups that were blocked? I stumbled upon this situation several times and found no way around with PopupPopper. That's why I had to abandon its trial usage
