From Traction Software :Batch & Print Pro is for batching documents as retainable lists, which can be automatically printed in, document sequence of your choice. All associated shell printable documents are supported, PDF, MS Word, HTML, text files, image formats, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations. Batch & Print Pro software monitors the spool queue of your chosen printer for seamless sequence printing to your desired choice.
Print scheduler, printer load balancing, pre-processing for converting PDF to Postscript, internal direct printing of native printer formats like PS, PCL, PRN, drag & drop of files for ease of use, save, load, append batch lists for later use, list ordering options, refresh lists to pickup new files, separator pages between each file options, batch file replication, DOS scripts within list, logging and reporting, email notifications, and can run as an NT service. Version: Batch & Print Pro 3.02
"Functional - needs some updating with presentation etc"
Pros: Does allow me to print a number of documents in specified order and to arrange print order which is exactly what I needed to do for a client.
Cons: A bit expensive for what you get

"keeps looking older and older"
Pros: It is somewhat reliable if you can understand it.
Cons: This program is getting old -- the interface looks amateurish and behaves poorly in many situations. For example, edit the monitor setup only to find out all those changes you just made wont be saved because you forgot to right click update first.
Summary: The user manual is also a bit outdated -- typos everywhere and every other paragraph is just one big run on sentence. We were hoping to be able to use this program to print high volumes, but since it is so old fashioned it is difficult for the ave... read more >>
