This utility allows you to automate shutdown of your computer, but that's the only feature it offers. The simple interface has a box to input hours until shutdown, and three buttons for start, canceling, and quitting. Barry's Sleep Timer gives you a 30-second warning to allow you to save any opened file or process before your PC shuts down. Unfortunately, you can't input a shutdown time of less than one hour or password-protect the program, which would make it a feasible option for child control. To make matters worse, the application only runs on Windows XP. This freeware utility is suitable for users of all skill levels but isn't likely to knock anyone out.Publisher's description
From Indipendent Scripting :This program is for the person who likes to listen to music while sitting nearby, and not have to worry about the computer running all night, if he or she falls asleep. Simply open the program, enter the amount of hours you wish the program to wait until turning off, and click start. You may use your computer while the program functions, then walk away, and let it shut off when you specify.

"A Sleep Timer That Actually Works!"

Simple, easy to use interface.
Does exactly what's promised (i.e. works!)
Quick to set up (just double click the icon)
Cons: Cons:
Only allows hour long increments, no less. :(

Pros: This software is a sleep timer. It turs off your computer in the amount of time you specify, like on your TV. It does not make you a sandwich, and it doesn't mow your lawn, but it doesn't make a promise to. I don't know what some of the other people didn't like, it does what it needs to do.

"Horrible interface, not very useful :("
Pros: Small program size, only 32KB.
Cons: Very unusable interface, we cant set the countdown time with step less then 1 hour!
Too ascetic interface.
Here -- cc.x2plastic.com we can find something much better, you need only click to start the timer and set up 2 parameters! incredible!

Pros: Its simple and most importantly it works. Set in incruments of 1 hour - what more could you want.
