The plugin supports all common linear and 2D barcodes:

Code 39, Code 39 Extended with automatic conversion
Code 128, 128 GS1 with support for all GS1 variable and fixed length identifiers

Datamatrix (2D barcode)
PDF 417 (2D barcode)
QR Quick Response (2D barcode)
The created barcode is ordinary Illustrator artwork that can be edited, moved around, exported etc.
Other features:
- Works stand-alone, no other components or barcode fonts required.
- Allows any font for human-readable text, even OCR
- Automatic checksum generation / error correction with all symbologies
- Support for all 2D barcode compaction modes, minimizing symbol size
- Very small footprint, only around 250 kB
