From Poco Systems :Barca is an integrated e-mail program, a personal-information manager, and a project planner. Aimed at the professional and small-business market, Barca provides a single interface to manage personal and business information, plan and schedule tasks and appointments, communicate with others, and collaborate on team projects. The e-mail capabilities of Barca have built-in Bayesian spam filters, protect users from viruses and spam, and are not susceptible to the virus vulnerability of Outlook and Outlook Express. Barca is fast, easy to use, scriptable, and flexible. For administrators, moving Barca installation from one computer to another is as simple as copying the install directory, as Barca does not install any DLLs on the user's computer. Mailboxes are kept in the standard MBOX format, and address books and filters are in the standard CSV format. You can extend Barca's functionality with PocoScript without having to program external DLLs.
Version 1.1 build 860 features integrated automatic data import from Outlook and fixes some bugs.

"Barca is an excellent PIM and email program"
Pros: It offers a PIM and email program in one. I can create appointments and tasks with reminders, plan my projects, and communicate with others. It has a clean interface and uses only 4.5 Mb of space.

Pros: An email client with some ad-ons like a calender.
Cons: Sold under a "free for 6 month" licence. But be aware that you can't convert your Barca email client files (only one-by-one :( )to any other standard. Like Outlook... they have a nice program to convert FROM Outlook but they leave the customer at a dead-end if they - for many good reasens - might not be able to use the program. No backoffice facilities or support at all... Add to that a "rock DEAD" website where nothing happens for month and an ignorent customerservice.... So if you are in business - don't depend on this product. They won't support you...
