Babylon is a single-click translator, dictionary, converter, and information tool that enables users to get definitions, translations, conversions, and relevant information. It lives on your desktop and retrieves information on topics that you choose (medical, sports, computers, music, and so on) by clicking your desired word term or number (see screen shot). Babylon's content is made available through some of the Web's leading information providers, including Amazon, Britannica, Dietwatch.com, and Accuweather, as well as by private user's glossaries and Babylon's glossary-creation tool, Babylon Builder.

Along with an updated interface, Babylon users receive instant access to definitions and translations from thousands of glossaries, and each user can choose his or her favorite glossaries and rely on them as primary information sources.

This version fixes a shutdown error and includes a bug fix related to the location of glossary title buttons. Other updates include added times zones and new localized glossary information.
