You'll quickly identify the BIOS Date, BIOS Type, BIOS ID String, Motherboard OEM data, Motherboard Chipset, and Super I/O data. This information is very helpful in the event you need or want to upgrade the BIOS on your PC. The BIOS Agent program is totally harmless, will not damage your system in any way, and no hidden information about your system is submitted to a database without your prior knowledge. It is simply a tool that you can use to obtain useful information about your system.
Version 3.45 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

"i think it's an awesome product"
Pros: i'm able to get all the basic info about a pc's bios at the click of a button - that i think is very very cool!

Cons: when i tried to run it, it gave me a quick self-extractor and then proceeded to do nothing at all. possibly some installation instructions could be in order...

"Simple tool for basic BIOS info"
Pros: This tool works fine with my Phoenix BIOS on notebook showing basic BIOS info. It correctly recognized my memory and CPU configuration.
Cons: This tool did not correctly recognized my chipset. Unfortunatelly this tool is too simple in terms of limited functionalities.
