"It's great to finally have a portable dictionary on my Palm"

Summary
The English Gold dictionary is great. The word search is quick considering the number of entries. I like the flexibility in formats: focus can be placed on the definition or the word list and the view screens can be displayed with horizontal or vertical separation. I expect that I will add future lexicons - this is one of the great flexibilities. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase.

Although $15 seemed a bit high to me, I've always preferred security so I bought it. I got good product and exellent customer support. There was a small bug in the program which I reported and got a fix on the next day! Why not 5 stars? Well, I'm waiting for the next update...;-)

They have jsut released update, which is twice the size of the older one. No charges. Excellent email support. I have their bundle and have to say it's extremely good. The program itself can be improved more, but they constantly update it anyway...I just hope they will finally include larger fonts in the next version...I've been waiting for that for a while...

"When is a dictionary not a dictionary?"

When it has less than 25000 words. I feel a little cheated by this version, as a fair-amount of the English words available in this dictionary would already be known by most moderately intellegent people. The whole point of a dictionary is to reference a word or spelling which was previously unknown to oneself. I await a more comprehensive version ;)

I just would like to say that BDicty gave me something to show my girlfriend that a $450 "toy" (Palm Vx) is worth buying after all ;) It's a very cool product. Glad I persisted and finally got my hands on it!
