From Jetico :

BCWipe ensures that another person will not restore files you have deleted from a disk. It uses military-grade procedures to shred deleted file contents and wipes individual files and folders, free disk space, the swap file (to remove any possible remaining sensitive data), and directory entries. BCWipe includes a Task Manager to set up predefined times when files are to be wiped out automatically.

Version 3.10.5 adds support of Windows Vista.

"it appears to be doing its job...but the file schredder is easier to use."

Pros: it appears to be doing its job.

Cons: a little too many steps in its operation. I am, btw, a simple PC user.
