Axelerate is an open-source front-end for the open-source download accelerator axel. Axel opens four connections to a http or ftp server, and downloads to one file (no join step at the end). Some features of axel are not yet supported. A copy of axel is included in the bundle - you do not need to already have it installed.

  • Download speed indicator
  • Uses filename in "Browse..." window
  • Custom icon
